"In the last couple of weeks Sharon has been exhibiting grinding of teeth which appears to be consistent with advanced stages of A/D. As a result, a previously damaged tooth (#7) broke off leaving a partial remnant. Since Hospice does not provide services for this condition it was necessary to find a dental provider. The search brought us to District Mobile Dental. The Doctor (Dr. Durbin) arrived this morning with all the necessary equipment to make an assessment, clean her teeth, grind the broken tooth, removing the sharp edges and projection. It was determined that grinding protection for Sharon's condition would be inappropriate.Dr Durbin is very personable, explaining the process before starting, and while performing, opening discussing the procedures and options. He occasionally has an assistant, but in this instance he did not and had no problem with the caregiver helping where appropriate. LAR (Caregiver)"
